…more importantly a temporary escape from

the harsh realities that plague all too many

Steve James 18, the LA Weekly minted ‘Golden Boy of EDM’, took charge of prepping the crowd and did not disappoint mixing head-boppin hit after hit.  His rendition of  Zhu’s “Faded” put fans in a state of awe, a display well deserving of his moniker.  As it approached midnight, eager fans summoned for the Dutch producer as chants of “Martin!” began to fill Exchange.

Choreographed lights synced with serene tones as Garrix beamingly took the stage.  Throughout the night, confetti fell from the sky, sprinkling the rumbling floor as fans moshed to favorites like “Animals”, “Tremor” and “Forbidden Voices”.  There was seemingly nothing lacking from Garrix’s production. The smoke machines, epileptic light shows, heart pumping compositions and hundreds of like-minded fans truly packaged this night into something unforgettable.

Curfew quickly approached and reluctantly the night came to a close.  Martin thanked his adoring fans for their support, and Fuck Cancer for the opportunity to bring awareness and more importantly a temporary escape from the harsh realities that plague all too many.
